Stainless steel enclosure with glass window for seal systems

A stainless steel mounting bracket for pressure regulators and flow meters on the monitoring units of mechanical seal systems fitted to process equipment (reactors, agitators, pumps). We machine the backplate to measure and drill cable or tube pass-through holes on the back exactly where your installation needs them. A protective cover with tempered safety glass then fits over the bracket, letting you read pressure and flow without opening it, while shielding the instrumentation from water, steam and aggressive cleaning agents during washdown.

02 Product description

Visual monitoring, without opening the enclosure

Pressure regulators and flow meters (rotameters) on seal system monitoring units are often mounted directly on process equipment — reactors, agitators and pumps — where they're exposed to water, steam and aggressive cleaning agents during routine washdown. A stainless steel protective enclosure shields them from this, while a tempered safety glass window lets you read pressure and flow at a glance, without ever having to open the door.

The base is the mounting bracket — a backplate in AISI 304 or 316L stainless steel, drilled exactly for your pressure regulators and flow meters, with cable or tube pass-through holes on the back positioned exactly where your installation needs them. A protective cover with tempered glass and a gasket-sealed door then fits over the bracket, keeping water and dust out while still allowing visual monitoring.

Matched to your equipment

Tell us the type and dimensions of the pressure regulators, flow meters or other instruments you want to protect, plus how your cables or tubes are routed. We drill the bracket exactly for that equipment and layout, and size the protective cover to match. We prepare a proposal with a 3D model (STEP) before manufacture.

  • 01

    Glass door for inspection

Tempered safety glass lets you read pressure and flow without opening the enclosure.

  • 02

    Splash and washdown protection

A sealed construction protects sensitive equipment from water, steam and cleaning agents.

  • 03

    Bracket made to measure

The backplate is drilled exactly for your regulators and meters; cable or tube holes are positioned to match your routing.

  • 04

    Hygienic exterior surfaces

Fully welded, with no sharp edges, easy to clean and disinfect.

04 Materials and surfaces

Choose the right version

We adapt the material and finish to the aggressiveness of the environment and the required chemical resistance.

AISI 304 stainless steel surface
AISI 304

The standard choice

A reliable and economical stainless steel for general industrial use in enclosed spaces.

AISI 316L stainless steel surface
AISI 316L

For more demanding environments

Added molybdenum increases resistance to chlorides and aggressive cleaning agents, suitable for chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

FINISH

Brushed or polished

A brushed surface (Scotch-Brite) for robust use, or mirror polished for the highest hygiene.

05 Applications

Where the enclosure performs best

  • Pharmaceutical manufacturingProtecting seal system monitoring equipment on reactors and agitators.
  • Chemical industryWashdown protection for instrumentation in aggressive process environments.
  • Food industryFrequent high-pressure water cleaning calls for sealed enclosures.
  • Pumps and agitatorsMonitoring the pressure and flow of a mechanical seal's barrier or buffer fluid.
  • Maintenance roundsVisual inspection through the glass without opening — faster, safer rounds.
  • General industryProtecting any sensitive measurement or control equipment from moisture and dust.
